Cloud Hosting Definition

Actually, the real cloud hosting solution serves various hosting services such as disk space, electronic mail, FTP, databases, DNS, stats, website hosting CP, backup, etc., on autonomous groups of avant-garde servers. Each particular service set constitutes a cluster. All the web hosting servers in a cluster are dedicated to serving only the given service and nothing beside it. They will all perform as one server, sharing out the service's load in almost equivalent proportions. If there is an authentic cloud hosting service, there would be: a disk space cluster, an electronic mail cluster, a File Transfer Protocol cluster, database clusters (MySQL/PostgreSQL), a DNS cluster, a stats cluster, a CP cluster, a backup cluster, and so on. All these separate service clusters will form the so-called cloud web hosting system.

The colossal cloud website hosting fraud. Very modern nowadays.

There is so much misunderstanding going around about cloud hosting today. As you can see, cloud hosting does not only appear complicated, but actually it is highly complicated. The majority of the people know nothing about what cloud hosting is. Based on this popular unawareness, the "cloud website hosting corporations" speculate feverishly, just to get hold of the customer and his/her 5 bucks a month. What a disgrace! A great disgrace. This is due to the fact that in the website hosting business niche there are no decrees at all. The domain name industry niche has ICANN. The website hosting industry has no such regulatory body. This is the reason why the web hosting traders speculate and lie blatantly (quite bluntly, in fact) to their customers. Mainly the cPanel-based cloud hosting providers. Let's examine how much cloud hosting they actually can offer.

The facts about the cPanel-based "cloud" web hosting suppliers

If a cPanel-based website hosting trader has a cloud hosting platform at hand, which is quite unlikely, multiple hosting servers have to be secured. Which is also not inexpensive. We will return to that at the end of this story. But before we do, let's see what the cloud predicaments are. So, it's very unlikely for a cPanel web hosting provider to have the cloud web hosting platform at hand, because of the fact that inventing one demands years. Even when time and the provision of a competent team are not a problem, lots of cash has to be invested too. Heaps of money. Furthermore, cPanel is not open source. That's a huge predicament.

The deficiency of open source cloud hosting solutions

There aren't any open source cloud website hosting systems. There aren't any open source web hosting CP tools (working with the cloud website hosting system) as well. So, to have a cloud hosting platform at hand, first of all you must build one. In-house. Secondly, you must make the web hosting CP too.

Single server-based website hosting Control Panels

Contemporary web hosting Control Panels such as cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, etc. are built to work on one single server exclusively. All website hosting services (storage space, mail, File Transfer Protocol, databases, DNS, statistics, website hosting CP, backup, and so on) are being served at the same time on a single web server where these respective one-server hosting systems and hosting CPs are installed.

The absence of open source hosting CPs

So, you must set up an in-house built website hosting CP that will function perfectly and to add it within the cloud platform, as if it was an inherent constituent of it. Suitable examples of custom manufactured cloud website hosting solutions with in-house built hosting CPs besides us, at WizardWords.com's WizardWordsGo, are MediaTemple and FreeHostia.

Cloud hosting hardware provision rates

The minimal investment needed, only for the cloud hosting hardware provision, is equivalent to somewhere between 60,000 USD and $80,000. That's omitting the DDoS tool, which is another $15-20,000. Now you realize how many cloud hosting platforms can be encountered out there... and, in particular, why the hosting sky is so blue... and almost unclouded!
